🍖 Air Fryer Chinese-Style BBQ Pork (Char Siu)

🧂 Ingredients

  • 1kg pork shoulder or loin
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tsp five-spice powder
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

🔪 Instructions

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients.
  2. Marinate pork overnight.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 180°C (360°F).
  4. Cook for 20 minutes.
  5. Increase temperature to 200°C (400°F), baste with honey, and cook for another 5-10 minutes until caramelized.
  6. Rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
